When my early interest in surfing waned, I turned to sewing. I spent every penny of my summer babysitting money buying fabric and wore a new, handmade dress every day for the first month of school!

Always inspired by the words on the Crayola box “Different Brilliant Colors”, the brighter the better for me. Poor Brown, Grey, and Burnt Sienna.

Next, throw in a lifelong career in the travel business to places with turquoise lagoons, emerald peaks, and pink sunsets and you’ll find me enjoying life, still sewing, all tropical quilts now, but probably with an umbrella’ed cocktail in one hand - for inspiration.
